California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants California residents specific rights over their personal information. This section describes ROAM Logistics, Inc.’s practices in relation to those requirements.
Right to Disclosure
The personal information we collect is generally provided directly by you, such as when you complete our “Contact” or “Request a Quote” forms. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, provide our transportation and logistics services, and communicate with you about your account or shipments. We retain this information for as long as necessary to fulfill these purposes and to comply with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
Right to Know and Access
At any time, California residents may request a copy of the personal information we hold about them, along with the categories and sources of that information and the purposes for which it is used. Please submit your request to sales@roamlogistics.com. To protect your information from unauthorized disclosure, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, which may include requesting government-issued photo ID for higher-risk requests. We will respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request, and may extend this period by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, with notice to you.
Right to Correct
You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. Please submit your request to sales@roamlogistics.com, and we will take reasonable steps to verify and correct the information.
Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law. These exceptions include, for example, information we need to retain to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, detect security incidents, or exercise a legal claim. Please submit your request to sales@roamlogistics.com to begin this process.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, or financial account credentials) beyond what is necessary to provide our services.
Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised any of your CCPA rights.
Authorized Agent
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of your written authorization and may still require you to verify your own identity directly with us.

How is Client Information Stored?
We securely store customer information in our transportation management system and company cloud storage. Additionally, business data is backed up onto a secured external hard drive. We implement appropriate measures to protect your information and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. We retain client information for the duration of our business relationship and up to seven years afterward to meet accounting and legal recordkeeping requirements.
